What we collect

The booking form on this site asks for:

  • Your name
  • Your phone or WhatsApp number
  • The visit type you want (new consultation, follow-up, second opinion, video consultation, or postoperative follow-up)
  • Which clinic, and your preferred date and time
  • An optional free-text note

Please do not send symptoms in the note

The note field is there for practical details — parking, timing, who is coming with you. Please do not write out symptoms, test results or your medical history there. Bring those to the consultation instead, where they belong in your clinical record rather than in a messaging app.

Because this is a colorectal and proctology practice, the simple fact that you contacted us already indicates something about your health. Egyptian law treats that as sensitive personal data, and we treat it the same way.

Where your booking goes

When you submit the form, the details you entered are assembled into a WhatsApp message addressed to the clinic. Sending it opens WhatsApp on your device, and from that point the message is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under their own terms, on servers outside Egypt. We ask for your explicit agreement before that happens.

If you would rather not use WhatsApp, call the clinic instead. The number is on every clinic listing on this site.

What we do not do

This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking cookies. We do not build a profile of you, we do not sell or share your details with advertisers, and there is no third-party marketing script on any page.

The one third-party element is a Google Maps panel showing the clinic locations. It does not load until you choose to open it.

How long we keep things

Booking messages are kept while we arrange your appointment and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can follow up. Clinical records created during your care are kept separately, under the retention rules that apply to medical records in Egypt.

Your rights

Under Law 151/2020 you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what data about you we hold
  • Correct anything that is wrong
  • Delete your data, where we are not required to keep it
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
